...And the other half supported Wolf!

Thankfully, Ed was there to explain the situation. But we ended up splitting into two groups ourselves...

Ed, Emilio, and I wanted to restore stars and leave quickly. That way we'd avoid being caught by Cordy and Lem.

Brick, Jazmin, and I wanted to settle the arguing at this station, even if it was risky. We had to come up with a plan.

In the meantime, we learned more about loops! We saw that code can go before a loop, if it doesn't need to repeat.

After fixing up the stars, we had our plan — to end the arguing once and for all with a soccer match!

Yeah! The star-makers who supported us won the match,
and we made a new bubble wand star!

I'm glad we stayed to resolve the conflict...but now Cordy and Lem have caught up to us!

First, let's make sure we understand how everything is connected in this puzzle.

I'll start! I see that the bridge to the Starpad is powered by two things: the cube tray and the counter!

We need 3 cubes for the counter and 1 for the cube tray. Thankfully there are 4 cubes on the launcher...

And that launcher is powered by the target!

Now, let's think about the purpose of each bot in the puzzle. 

The Grabber's purpose is to move the cubes to the counter — we know this since it's the only bot that can pick things up.

The Laser's purpose is to turn on the launcher, since it's the only bot that can power targets!

That makes sense. Let's start coding the Grabber, then. What should it do first?

First, it should pick up a cube at launcher B...

Next, it should drop the cube at counter C...

Then it needs to go pick up another cube...oh! But we only have 1 line left, so...

It's looping time! What code needs to repeat? What code doesn't need to repeat?

The Grabber needs to pick up and drop every time it moves a cube, so both lines need to repeat!

Agreed. With this loop, the Grabber can move 3 cubes to the counter. Should we code the Laser now?

Yeah! Like Emilio said earlier, the Laser needs to power the launcher. That'll launch up a cube for the cube tray!

So what should the code be? We only have 2 lines to use, so let's think carefully...

Hm...I thought we might need to loop a turn here since we only have 2 lines, but...

If we do that, the Laser keeps spinning and launching cubes! Then the Grabber doesn't have enough cubes for the counter.

Right, so we actually shouldn't repeat the turn here! The Laser only needs to hit the target once.

In that case, we just need to make the Laser turn around! So...turn twice in the same direction, yeah?

Yeah. I'll add another turn clockwise, then run the code.

The Laser launched a cube, so I'll move that to the cube tray.

Meanwhile, the Grabber moved the other 3 cubes to the counter. We can cross the bridge now!

And finally, we hit the Starpad!

Well to be honest, it was just a guess at first...

But when I thought about each bot's purpose in the puzzle, I realized my guess was correct!

The Grabber had to do the same task 3 times, so using a loop there made sense...

But the Laser only needed to launch 1 cube!
That's how I knew using a loop for it would be a mistake.

I see...I suppose there's a time and place for everything, including loops. We should keep that in mind!

By the way...Luz? Um, are you feeling a bit better now?

...Yeah, thanks to all of you. I think I'm starting to understand Valeria's feelings a little more, too.

She's always been pushing me to try new things, and helping me out along the way. I thought she could do anything...
